I marketed and sold my services to medical providers and negotiated my fees. I did medical billing for medical practices. When they didn’t get paid, I called the insurance companies to negotiate payment for services rendered. I reviewed charts and notes and countered their utilization review experts. For certain cases, I went to court to represent my medical providers. I analyzed and modeled thousands of Excel spreadsheets to negotiate with the insurance attorneys on hundreds of cases. I learned a lot about medical billing, insurance payments and the legal system.

Sciton manufacturers premium cosmetic lasers that are used by plastic surgeons and dermatologists. I believe that marketing’s job is to serve sales. Sales is the lifeline of any business.

Through my experiences, I realized that small and medium-sized companies had the same problems, yet they lacked the budget and expertise to solve those issues.

My startup service was founded on the basis that small and medium-sized companies could grow much faster if they had a good coach. I can apply the same techniques and processes from well-established, publicly-traded companies to the marketing and sales for smaller companies. This is what makes our startup unique.
